Your Role


As the new Product Manager iTrap you will be responsible to drive and manage the business of our iTrap product line of mass spectrometers developed for robust process control of semiconductor manufacturing processes.


You will manage and develop the iTrap product portfolio. You will report to the Global Product Manager Cryogenics & iTrap and be part of the divisional marketing team and regularly interact with stakeholders in marketing, engineering, and operations – as well as with key customers and our regional sales and service organizations. Ideally you will be based in Cologne (Germany) to allow close interaction with our engineering team.


You will be responsible for:


New product introduction: Develop market requirements and business cases for new products and present to senior management. Represent marketing in the product development team and ensure adherence of key customer requirements.


Continuous improvement: Based on internal and external customer feedback define the key priorities for a continuous improvement of product and software. Work closely with engineering, software development and application to ensure proper testing and documentation prior to market rollout.


Voice of customer: Regularly interact with key customers and application engineers to understand the market requirements and define the key priorities for our development roadmap.


Product Marketing: Drive the development of marketing collateral and training sessions. Identify the key features and value propositions for the different target segments to help sales and applications.


Change control: Ensure adherence to processes across all business functions as well as compliance to CE (Copy Exact). Promote responsible process improvements implementation through change control process.



To succeed, you will need

  • A degree in a Science or Engineering discipline
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in product marketing/management or business development of complex products
  • Good technical understanding and able to lead discussions on a high technical level
  • Knowledge of semiconductor markets and processes
  • Ability to motivate and drive cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Ideally experience with operating complex analytical equipment
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Fluent English skills, German skills preferred
  • Regular international travel (25%)
